Send wedding announcements the day of or the day after the wedding to those who were invited but could not attend or to those who may not have been invited, such as parents’ friends and co-workers. You may also use wedding announcements if you have a small, private wedding or elopement. Announcements are worded slightly different than invitations. For example, they include the date and year, but not the times. Consult your stationer for proper wording.
