And just as a blank canvas in its rawest form, a natural textile, is beautiful in itself before a timeless masterpiece is painted, so was the unrefined beauty of this design inspired by simplicity that makes a statement on its own.
Coordinated and designed by Renee Breanne Design + Co, a talented team of vendors collaborated to bring this beautiful vision to life, including LK Bridal Studio, Surroundings Events & Floral, Flying Rabbit Press, The Baked Lab, Velvet Rentals, Brandi's Bridal Galleria, Etc., KBK Bridals, and Windy City Linen. Flying Rabbit Press delivered an invitation suite with feathery torn edges that added a touch of softness and sophistication to the celebration. They continued the neutral color scheme through carefully designed and hand-printed wedding stationery elements featuring eloquent script fonts paired with a simple sans-serif.
Ellsworth Block in downtown Madison provided an ideal setting for a celebration highlighting natural textures. This unique event space, a restored historical gem on Capitol Square, boasts sandstone and brick walls, wooden floors, tall ceilings, and a glass skylight that provides ample natural light. The versatile space also includes a bold, geometric iron framework distinctive to the time of construction in 1871.
Surroundings Events & Floral crafted a beautiful bouquet for our bride. White, pink, and peach blooms were nestled amidst lush greenery, evoking a gentle spring ambiance. Textured ceramic vases also held an array of greenery sprigs and delicate florals to create an exquisite centerpiece display for the reception table.
Velvet Rentals brought the neutral and organic wedding design to life with their carefully selected rental items. Their collection included King Louis Chairs, handcrafted bud vases, vintage coupe champagne glasses, a textured wool rug, and more. Windy City Linen supplied a stunning off-white, shimmery gold tablecloth paired with taupe satin napkins to complete the luxurious tablescape.
Renee Breanne Design + Co skillfully demonstrated their wedding and event planning expertise through this soft yet sophisticated wedding design. Their attention to detail and creative use of textural elements pulled the vision together in perfect harmony.
A breathtaking 5-tiered cake by The Baked Lab paid homage to the artistic and organic elements of the wedding design. The monochrome dessert cleverly added shadow and texture using a cascade of artful flowers and thin threads of frosting.
KBK Bridals skillfully crafted a soft, natural makeup style for our bride. Her hair, held by a sparkling flower accessory, was elegantly curled and swept over one shoulder, flowing down like the tiers of her gown.
Brandi's Bridal Galleria, Etc. fashioned our stunning bride in the "Jasper" gown by All Who Wander. This dress was perfect for an organic-themed wedding celebration, featuring tiered layers, lightly textured fabric, and a structured bodice with a tasteful deep neckline. Its wispy, ethereal, and airy quality playfully contrasted with the setting's geometric framework and coarse brick walls.
