HOW DID YOU KNOW YOU HAD FOUND “THE ONE?” An indescribable feeling of just knowing we had found the person meant for us.
TELL US ABOUT YOUR PROPOSAL: Joshua planned a romantic proposal at our home, with just the two of us – it was simply a perfect moment for us.
TELL US ABOUT FINDING YOUR DRESS: Finding my dress involved a few trips to a variety of boutiques and trying on different dresses. The ONE was found at Brides N’ Belles in Reedsburg. I knew I had found my dress.
WHAT WAS YOUR WEDDING COLOR PALETTE? Cream, blush, sage green, and burgundy
DESCRIBE YOUR WEDDING FLOWERS: Our flowers were a beautiful combination of greenery with the perfect balance of flowers.
WERE THERE ANY PERSONAL TOUCHES OR DIY ELEMENTS? We had a few DIY elements with signs and photographs throughout the wedding.
WHAT WAS YOUR INSPIRATION/DESIGN CONCEPT FOR YOUR OVERALL CEREMONY AND RECEPTION DECOR? We did not have a set concept, we chose items that felt like us.
TELL US ABOUT THE FOOD, DESSERT AND ANY SPECIALTY BEVERAGES ON THE MENU: For our dessert, we decided to offer Donuts from Miller and Sons in Mount Horeb. &
nbsp;They were beyond delicious and a hit with our guests.
WHAT WAS YOUR FAVORITE MOMENT FROM YOUR WEDDING? It is hard to pinpoint one favorite moment from the wedding, as the day itself was filled with so many wonderful memories. A special moment for us was getting to escape to the top of the roof of our venue overlooking the Capitol for a few photos. The lighting was magical, and it was a quiet moment for just the two of us to take a breath and enjoy.
TELL US ABOUT YOUR HONEYMOON PLANS: We honeymooned in Greece and had an incredible experience. We want to go back!
WHAT DOES LIFE LOOK LIKE AFTER THE WEDDING? We are living in Mount Horeb in our forever home with our daughter Nora.
ANY WEDDING PLANNING REGRETS OR SOMETHING YOU WOULD DO DIFFERENTLY? I would have hired a videographer.
IS THERE ANY ADVICE YOU’D GIVE TO OTHER COUPLES PLANNING THEIR WEDDING? Live in the moment – take a step back, breathe and enjoy all the magic!
