We host wedding ceremonies on the shores of Lake Mendota and offer a 6,000 square foot Lakeside Pavilion to host wedding receptions! In addition to our ceremony and reception locations, we also provide catering and beverages for your big day. At Bishops Bay, our Banquet Manager plans, prepares, and executes everything from your tour, to your rehearsal, to day-of coordination. We have an array of beautiful locations for your wedding day pictures, such as our pier for stunning lake photos with downtown Madison skyline views in the background, nature areas filled with large old trees, as well as a historic building rich with character! We are also proud to offer getting ready suites for our couples to enjoy as they prepare for their big day.
DO YOU WORK ALONE OR WITH A TEAM, AND WHAT IS THE DYNAMIC OF YOUR BUSINESS? All of our Bishops Bay weddings are definitely a team effort! Tours and planning start with our Banquet Manager; from there, our Chef and culinary team prepare and execute the food. Our Food & Beverage Director oversees the beverages, and our Restaurant Manager schedules all service staff needs. Our House Maintenance staff cleans and readies all wedding spaces, and you'll even see our COO parking guests and lending a hand on wedding days! We have an outstanding management team with over 50 combined years of experience. Bishops Bay prides itself on exceptional service, stunning location, and delicious menus.
