We host wedding ceremonies on the shores of Lake Mendota and have a 6,000 square foot Lakeside Pavilion to host wedding receptions. In addition to ceremony and reception locations, we also provide the catering and beverages.
TELL US ABOUT YOUR JOURNEY STARTING YOUR BUSINESS AND THE STORY BEHIND THE NAME: Our original building, The Manor, was actually a family home that was built in the late 1920s. The Manor was sold to the Catholic Diocese in the 1940s, and the first Bishops of Madison lived here with staff and nuns. Hence our name, Bishops Bay Country Club! In the 1990s, our founder purchased The Manor and property and built our country club. We are celebrating our 25th anniversary this year and are proud to be The Premier Private Country Club in the Madison area!
WHAT SETS YOU APART FROM OTHER VENDORS IN YOUR INDUSTRY? We have an AMAZING view and property! Shoreline ceremonies with the breathtaking view of the Capitol & downtown Madison skyline as our backdrop. The shoreline is encompassed in mature pine, oak and maple trees, Lake Mendota water access, and a pier. Our Lakeside Pavilion reception space can be transformed into your own, unique vision! It is a very versatile space to make into your personal style.
