Celebrating both a marriage and a family coming together, Kimberly and Kelly's elegant black and white New Year's wedding in Cottage Grove, Wisconsin, was a magical winter day filled with so much light and love! Captured by Thrive Photography & Films, these two included their children, Evelyn and Landon, as their Maid of Honor and Best Man, and we know every sentimental and special detail below will both warm your heart and inspire your own celebration.

Kimberly and Kelly's wedding day was four years in the making - on New Year's Day 2018, Kelly and their kids proposed. Landon knelt down to ask, "will you be our mom?" Kimberly, of course, said yes to both proposals! When their wedding day finally arrived in 2022, the couple's ceremony included several personal details, like Kelly's mom officiating, combining different colored sand for all four family members, and even the white fence background that Kelly built himself!

Timeless Wedding Ceremony Sign

While the snow fell outside, inside, the venue was lit up by the glow of elegant twinkling birch trees that spanned the entire reception space - talk about a magical winter night! And what better way to top off their delicious dinner of Chicken Piccata, Chicken Tikka Masala, Beef Burgundy, scalloped potatoes, vegetables, and salad than a dessert bar and warm-up with coffee and hot chocolate?

Elegant Simple Winter Wedding Centerpieces

Evelyn and Landon brought laughter and tears with a touching speech about Kimberly completing their family, as well as an ending of, "Mom and Dad turn and hold hands and gaze into each other's eyes. You are now looking at the person statistically speaking most likely to murder you." Kelly's dad's speech was emotional, and the couple could truly feel his love when he said, "If you take care of each other, you'll be just fine." The Stelzer crew hit the dance floor to share in special dances with each other and even a family dance that kicked off the rest of the night of fun and celebration!
