Wedding ceremonies take place on the shores of Lake Mendota, with the Capitol framed in the background of your nuptials. Once the "I do's" are said, everyone heads over to our 6,000 square foot Lakeside Pavilion where our bar and waitstaff will care for you and your guests throughout cocktail hour and reception. There is no need to find a separate caterer, as our experienced kitchen team is here to execute your curated wedding menu. Our hands-on events manager plans, prepares, and executes everything for your big day, from your tour to day-of coordination and everything in between. The historic campus offers many beautiful sites to take all your wedding day pictures, such as our pier for stunning lakeside photos, nature backdrops with towering trees, and of course, our English-style manor.
TELL US ABOUT YOUR JOURNEY STARTING YOUR BUSINESS AND THE STORY BEHIND THE NAME: The manor of Bishops Bay Country Club was built in 1933 and was a family home until it was sold to the Catholic Diocese in 1946. After half a century of Bishops living in the manor, the Diocese was sold to the club's founder in 1995. Since then, Bishops Bay Country Club has been growing and expanding to take advantage of the beautiful space that we occupy fully.
