WHEN AND HOW DID YOU GET STARTED IN THE WEDDING INDUSTRY? Event Essentials is a division of A to Z RentAll, Inc., started in 1954. The company started as a general tool rental company with a franchise agreement between husband-and-wife duo Rex and Enid Hoffman and United Rental-All. Today Rex and Enid's son Kevin Hoffman holds ownership of A to Z RentAll, Inc. Then, in the mid-2000s, the decision was made to split the company's two divisions, tool and event rentals, and Event Essentials was introduced to the market! 

In the beginning, Event Essentials offered the event rental basics like do-it-yourself and pole tents, your basic tables, folding chairs, bounce houses, and more. And while EE still provides many of the same types of rentals, we have also continued to expand our rental offerings to complement the ever-moving trend demands. We are now able to fully construct an event from scratch, laying down event flooring, offering four different types of tenting solutions - pole tents, frame tents, sailcloth tents, and, introduced this year, the Timbertrac tent. We have roughly fourteen different chair options, over six thousand linen options to choose from, and our furniture selection is unmatched in the area!

TELL US ABOUT WHY YOUR BUSINESS IS UNIQUE: Event Essentials' number one characteristic that offers uniqueness to the Madison and Wisconsin wedding industry market is its longevity. Being a part of the event equipment rental world for nearly seventy years gives us quite the advantage in having the experience required to know what works and what doesn't. We pride ourselves on our knowledgeable staff, vast inventory, and experience to execute what is being asked of us. 

We are also one of the founding members of a national association, the American Rental Association, that allows us to lean on and network with fellow event rental companies across the United States. We believe this leadership and involvement with the ARA also provides us with an even larger pool of experiences to lean on and helps us continue offering the best service we can.

WHERE ARE YOU BASED, AND WHERE DO YOU MEET WITH CLIENTS? We are based in Windsor, Wisconsin, in the industrial park on Blanchar's Crossing. Within our warehouse, we have a showroom to highlight some of the favorite rental items, as well as a complete design center to reserve for creating just the right setting. The design center provides an in-person opportunity to see and play with the table linens, napkins, and tableware for your event.
