With bouquets of white ranunculus, gray brunia and lots of lavender from Madison wedding florist, Flora Designs by Jamae, this beautiful bride and her bridesmaids in dusty lavender dresses looked like they just stepped out of a beautiful scene from a French movie. With a white on white table design, rentals from Event Essentials, guests enjoyed this French garden soiree at Fields Reserve from beginning to end, finishing the night with lavender lemonade signature cocktails and a gorge cake from Curtis & Cake. Captured in its entirety by Zach Jindra Photography - more this way!

WEDDING DATE:  06/22/18

HOW DID YOU MEET?  At Carroll University; we were biology lab partners as freshmen!

HOW DID YOU KNOW HE WAS THE ONE? I knew Alex was the one when I saw him interact with his younger sisters for the first time. He was so sweet and caring!

TELL US ABOUT YOUR PROPOSAL: Alex surprised me by taking me to the pavilion overlooking Carroll's campus, where we first met.

TELL US ABOUT FINDING YOUR DRESS: I met my mom and sister in Chicago for a weekend filled with shopping, dining, and theater-going! I knew the minute we walked into BHLDN that I would find my dream dress there. It was only the 6th dress I tried on and wasn't anything like I imagined I would wear, but I fell in love!

WHAT WAS YOUR WEDDING COLOR PALETTE? Dusty lavender, gray, ivory, and sage green.

DESCRIBE YOUR WEDDING FLOWERS: Lavender, ivory open cut roses, white ranunculus, gray brunia, and a lot of greenery.

WHAT WAS YOUR FAVORITE MOMENT FROM YOUR WEDDING? When the double doors at the back of the chapel opened and I walked down the aisle to Alex, through a crowd of people I love.

WERE THERE ANY PERSONAL TOUCHES OR DIY ELEMENTS? Alex and I aren't crafty, but Andrea from CBE made these amazing signs and beautiful escort card display! We also had a delicious specialty cocktail -- vodka lavender lemonades.

DID YOU USE ANY SPECIALTY CHAIRS, LINENS, TABLES OR DINNERWARE? The tables, chairs, and linens were mostly provided by the venue. However, we rented specialty hand-tossed gray ceramic chargers, napkins, plum water goblets, and a gorgeous wooden harvest table from Event Essentials.

TELL US ABOUT YOUR HONEYMOON PLANS: We have a million places we want to travel to, so it's difficult to narrow down where we want to go first! We're hoping to go to either Norway or France.

WHAT DOES LIFE LOOK LIKE AFTER THE WEDDING? Finding routine in married life with a new puppy, and honeymoon planning!

IS THERE ANY ADVICE YOU'D GIVE TO OTHERS PLANNING THEIR WEDDING? Invest in a wedding planner (or at least day-of-coordinator) who knows their stuff! It made our day so much more relaxing knowing that all of the logistics were taken care of. Even though it may seem like a lot of money up front, it's well worth the time, sanity, and money you save in the long run.
