Nestled in the beautiful Baraboo bluffs at the Wild Rose Ranch, Tammy & Jesse's vintage sleek wedding in the country captured by Steph Shanks Photography, turned out absolutely stunning! The bride & groom custom made wood signs, collected a year's worth of china, hand picked flowers and gave succulents as guest favors.

HOW DID YOU MEET?
Friends set us up.

TELL US ABOUT YOUR PROPOSAL: We were at an auction. (Something we like to do together) And he set up with the auctioneer to bid high on a pair of metal flowers I wanted to get my attention. Instead, I got mad and walked out, he chased me to come back after telling me he was going to ask me to marry him. He got down on one knee and proposed in front of 160 people. Random strangers took some photos and lots of people shared their love stories. It was perfect....even the part where I walked out.

TELL US ABOUT YOUR DRESS: It was the 7th one I tried on. My bridesmaids even cried. It was also vintage looking. Opened back ivory. Not a lot of detail but perfect for me.

TELL US ABOUT YOUR FLOWERS: All my flowers were picked from Gloria's Gardens in Sauk City the day before the wedding. My bridesmaids and I picked them with Gloria. The place is amazing. Then my girlfriends arranged them all and did their bouquets. I also made paper flowers for the decorating. Lots and lots of paper flowers. My bouquet I made from brooches old and new. Lots had sentimental value.

WERE THERE ANY PERSONAL TOUCHES OR DIY ELEMENTS? All the decor my husband and I painted, decorated or designed. From lanterns to the many vases and flower pots. Even the event signs and venue sight.

DID YOU USE ANY SPECIALTY CHAIRS, LINENS OR DINNERWARE?
All the dinnerware was vintage china. We had collected it for over a year. I wanted miss match place settings with random floral patterns. We used tea cups for the cupcakes. We also lined the tables with dollies placed on top of white table cloths. I also used random pieces of china for succulents that I gave out as party favors.

WHAT WAS YOUR FAVORITE MOMENT FROM YOUR WEDDING? Our vow exchange. We wrote out our own. His was beautiful, I loved every minute.
